Hi, I’m Tessa — Holistic Nutritionist, Yoga Therapist, and Educator
I’ve always believed in holistic wellness and the guiding practices of ancient wisdom. To me, health isn’t something we chase — it’s something we nurture. It’s about aligning with nature’s rhythms and listening to the body’s innate wisdom.
My approach weaves together nutrition, movement, and nervous system practices to empower women to embrace their changing bodies with ease, strength, and compassion.
My Midlife Awakening
My journey into perimenopause began around 40 — a time when I didn’t even know what perimenopause was. My skin broke out in painful hormonal acne, my energy dipped, and I didn’t recognize myself.
Through curiosity, study, and self-compassion, I began using food, lifestyle shifts, and nervous system support to balance my hormones and heal from within. What started as frustration turned into a deep awakening — an understanding that midlife is not a decline, but a powerful transformation.
My Philosophy
I see health as a spiritual and cyclical journey — one that is deeply connected to the land, the seasons, and the natural ebb and flow of our bodies. I draw on both modern science and ancient traditions to guide women toward balance, vitality, and calm.
In my work, we focus on:
Nourishment – supporting hormones through real, whole foods.
Movement – building strength, bone density, and mobility for midlife and beyond.
Regulation – calming the nervous system to restore energy, sleep, and emotional balance.
Beyond the Work
Outside of my coaching practice, I’m also a Grade 6 teacher and instructional leader, supporting other educators in wellness and holistic approaches to teaching and learning. Education is another space where I see connection, presence, and growth come to life.
I’m a lover of all things food — creating nourishing meals that feel both grounding and joyful. I find peace and inspiration in flowers, crafting, and time on the land. The earth heals me, reminds me, and continues to teach me presence and connection.
Whether I’m teaching a workshop, guiding a yoga class, or holding space for women in my group programs, my intention is always the same: to help you feel rooted, strong, and in harmony with your changing body.
